IEQ-13: Volatile Organic Compounds: Carpets and Flooring
Product is likely to assist in a project obtaining a credit
point as it meets the prescribed Volatile Organic Compound (VOC)
emission standard for carpets. To achieve the credit point all
carpets (or resilient floors) used in the project must be in
accordance with the prescribed standard. To achieve the credit
point where no carpet (or other VOC emitting flooring) is
installed, flooring must be shown to be low-VOC in accordance with
the prescribed emission levels.
