Mat-9: Dematerialisation
Product is likely to assist in a project obtaining credits as it
provides a means of reducing the total amount of material
used. Points my be available where less material is used to
provide for the buildings structural requirements but maintains
integrity, or alternatively by reducing material use in a
combination of areas including structure, ductwork, finishes,
cladding and/or piping. Point achievement dependant on
satisfying specific percentage reduction requirements.
