IEQ-8 Note-1: Volatile Organic Compounds: Flooring
Product is likely to assist in a project obtaining credits as it
meets the prescribed Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emission
standard for carpets. To achieve credit points all carpets used in
the project must be in accordance with the prescribed standard, or
alternatively if low-VOC flooring options are used.
Product may offer an alternative to carpets and meet the VOC
emission standards providing an alternative Low VOC flooring
option, in accordance with the prescribed standard above.
