Wat-5 Note 1: Fire System Water
Product is likely to assist in a project obtaining credit points
as it contributes to the reduction of potable water for the
buildings fire protection and essential water storage systems.
Credit points are achieved when sufficient temporary storage for a
minimum of 80% of routine fire protection system test water and
maintenance drain-downs for re-use on site and each floor is fitted
with a sprinkler system is provided i accordance with prescribed
requirements.
Or where the fire protection system does not expel water for
testing.
Product may assist individually or in combination with other
products/systems in providing temporary storage systems, re-use
systems or sprinkler systems to be used for purposes explained
above.
