The product uses ‘safe’ synthetics and natural ingredients, including Fair Trade Shea Butter, which is used to nourish and hydrate the skin, and Rosewood oil, which is used as an antiseptic and uplifting the skin. The product claims to contribute 100% of proceeds (minus GST) to grass roots charities in the areas of environmental conservation, animal welfare and human rights. Lush claims most of the products are sold with no packaging, or are packaged in black pots, which consist of recycled plastic.
The company produces a range of natural products including personal care products, makeup, and perfume.
