Paperock is a composite building
material made by layering paper (includes recycled sources),
impregnating one or more layers of the paper with phenolic resin,
and laminating the resin-saturated paper under heat and pressure.
The resin fully cures during this process. The manufacturer's MSDS
states that free formaldehyde makes up less than 0.1% of the
Paperock can be used for
benchtops/countertops (including kitchen benches), cutting boards,
skate ramps, handles, electrical backing board, residential and
commercial food preparation surfaces, architectural materials
(structural and aesthetic), laboratories, industrial work surfaces,
boat building, aerospace, and furniture.
