Composite building material made from recycled paper.

Paperock is a composite building material made by layering paper (includes recycled sources), impregnating one or more layers of the paper with phenolic resin, and laminating the resin-saturated paper under heat and pressure. The resin fully cures during this process. The manufacturer's MSDS states that free formaldehyde makes up less than 0.1% of the product.

Paperock can be used for benchtops/countertops (including kitchen benches), cutting boards, skate ramps, handles, electrical backing board, residential and commercial food preparation surfaces, architectural materials (structural and aesthetic), laboratories, industrial work surfaces, boat building, aerospace, and furniture.
