Biodegradable, low VOC, natural raw material, resilient floor covering. Suitable for interior use in high traffic retail, public/institutional (eg.schools and healthcare), residential, heavy duty commercial and general industrial use.
Artoleum is made from renewable resources including linseed oil, tall oil (a recycled post -industrial by-product of Kraft paper production), pine tree rosin, cork and wood floor and jute backing.
The flooring material contains no PVC, can be composted, put into non-industrial landfill or incinerated at end of life.
Artoleum is sealed with a water-based Topshield™ topcoat finish, reducing maintenance, chemicals and water use. The flooring has bacteriostatic and antistatic properties. Sound impact reduction with 2mm Corkment underlay.
Content and make up of Artoleum is similar to Marmoleum but includes a brighter colour range and different surface designs made up of specks and streaks of various density.
To complement this low VOC, environmentally preferable floor covering product, Forbo provides a low VOC flooring adhesive, Forbo Fix Adhesive recommended for installation.
