have been fully tested to AS/NZS 1530.3:1989 by an independent test
house as having typically an ignitability index of 14, spread of
flame 8, heat evolved 7 and smoke developed 4.
In respect of heat and smoke release, the
panels have been fully tested to AS/NZS 3837:1998 as being
classified as Group 3 and as having typically an average specific
extinction area of 53.3m2/kg.
In respect of substrate physical properties,
the panels shall have been fully tested to AS/NZS 1859.2:2004 as
having the following typical physical characteristics;

Decorwood E0 STD MDF with LPM® when tested in the
approved manner complies with the relevant sections of AS/NZS
1859.3 for surface properties. Resistance to wear for solid colours
is typically>300 cycles. Patterns and prints average>40
cycles. Resistance to steam gives no noticeable
permeability effects.
Green Performance:
The MDF shall:
a) Be certified as LEVEL
A under a Green Building Council of Australia recognised
third party certification system.
