Fortaleza, Richmond and Winchester fabrics aim to reduce energy consumption through reducing the load on internal temperature control systems while also consisting of verified environmentally friendly constituents. This product can be used in conjunction with other products to achieve desired energy reduction goals and increase user comfort.

This fabric will aid in the reduction of thermal heat transmission into buildings, and greatly improve internal comfort visually and thermally through the reduction in light, glare and heat that enters the building interior.

Indoor Environment Quality

Low VOC blind's are highly desirable from an eco and indoor health perspective. VOC levels from these fabrics are not determined; however manufacturer claims that VOC emissions are less than 40 ppm, similar to other materials in the marketplace.

As an Oeko-Tex certified product, and alternative to PVC based window coverings, this material assists in reducing toxics in the indoor environment.
