Bonbon is a fabric produced from a modified polyolefin yarn which is produced from a by-product of the petroleum refining process. The modified polyolefin is a low temperature product which requires less energy to manufacture. The yarn in this fabric can be re-extruded (recycled) up to 10 times.
This fabric is suitable for soft furnishing upholstery in commercial and residential applications. The product has very low VOC emissions.
Manufacturer states that there is an inherent stain resistance in the fabric which lasts the lifetime of the product.
