New research confirms thermal boost with Hebel® PowerFloor

This research was conducted on suspended ground flooring systems and compared the heating and cooling loads of Hebel's aerated concrete PowerFloorTM to the commonly used particle board floors with foil. The research found that on average the PowerFloorTM used 18.4% less energy to heat the building in a location like Brisbane  compared to particle board with foil, while using 6.4% less energy to cool the building in a location like Canberra compared to particle board with foil.*

All research, administered by independent auditor Ecospecifier Pty Ltd using the Accurate simulation models, confirmed PowerFloorTM to be a significantly superior thermal product than particle board for suspended flooring, adding to meet BCA deemed to satisfy provisions.
